Investigating Paranormal Activity
I lay on my bed, alone and drowning in the peaceful silence.
My thoughts turned to finding my spirit guide. After a short while I asked aloud if my guide was with me and the response was a very clear female voice who called “Alan”, my name.
I will not cover up my reaction, for a better way of describing it, I jumped out of my skin. LOL.
I thought I was ready for any response but obviously I was wrong, it just came out of the blue. I was so relaxed it just made me jump.
That was two years ago and my guide has not said a word since.
I know I have company when I work with spirit but who or how many I have yet to be contacted correctly. I am guided when I work and protected as my senses tell me. Also I sense there are helpers that join our team. These are spirits that wish to be around when we work and assist our guides and us.
Many spirits will not try to catch you unawares, the last thing they want is to scare or frighten you. Maybe this is why in my case they are letting me work with them a little longer before the next verbal contact.
For those who understand thought communication, this is what I have to work with until spirit choose otherwise.
It still makes me smile to think I was so ready for verbal communication, even though it was a slight shock to my system I felt robbed it was not continued at the time.
My team has all experienced short shock events many times, well lets face it guy’s, it is the unknown we are working with.

Paranormal phenomenon.
Everyone to their own opinion obviously!
This subject is always under endless discussion and on one side (being the non believer) verses the other side (the believer).
Unless you have any hands on experience of paranormal activity, how can you be so sceptical of it’s existence?
I mean how can you judge it if you have no actual part of it. It is easy to say it does not exist if you are the individual that has never experienced it.
I myself, at a very early age had no reason to believe in it, only when certain things were happening around me did I take notice and start to work with this. Yes I am still sceptical and will always look for the obvious reason for any activity and yes, not all is down to the paranormal.
We would never want to try and convince anyone of the work we do, but all we ask is that if our results are genuine and professional please let us continue without ridicule.
Put it this way, if you were in the spirit world and you needed help or needed to contact someone who would you pick?
Not a disbeliever that’s for sure. You would want someone who is going to give you results. But saying that, the disbeliever does get chosen at times and this can cause a problem for that individual. They have to change their view on the whole outlook of what they have believed in and that is difficult to accept.
We have spoken to many at our seminar’s and the individuals who were disbelievers and had experienced paranormal activity had told us it is far harder to be a believer than a disbeliever, they wish they had not had the experience.
This brings me back to, if you have not experienced both sides of the subject how on this earth can you make a judgement?
The answer to this is, until most individuals have experienced P/A they will be set by their own opinion until something changes their belief.
Most of us realise that FEAR has a great deal to do with P/A and this could be one reason for an individual who has witnessed P/A but is to afraid to accept it. It’s the old story, “What you can’t see your afraid of ”.
Some get a buzz from it and some are terrified but at the end of the day there is always a heading around the world of some kind of strange paranormal event happening.
You either believe in it or you don’t. Some may smile while others frown.
But for those who don’t, will you be able to accept it when its your turn !

Hey, hope you are all well.
Why is it that whenever I enter the web for a paranormal surf all I seem to get is old hat! I mean in general, old material on hauntings.
It seems that everyone copies the same material on areas of ghostsightings and they seem to go back years.
As you may understand a ghost is a recording and these recordings tend to fade after various time scales. No wonder they have not be seen again in many places. Most books and websites seem to follow the same script, explaining what was seen and lack the information of recent sightings.
Most of the sites I have visited declare their experience in spirit clearance but lack the input on their on hands work. They try to explain how it is done and offer some advice but I feel many have no experience what so ever.
Yes, they have been on investigations and yes, they have had unusual experiences but no, many do not have a clue how to communicate with spirit let alone try to perform clearance.
The websites that show ghosts and ghouls floating around for decoration, to me, are definitely fun sites and also sites that arrange tours. Many fill their gallery with old pictures that have been mass produced and faked, being the highlight of their interest.
Many individuals enjoy this I know but maybe for the future it might be an idea for sites to show they are in this for the excitement and game, rather than deceive the individuals that are more in depth with paranormal events. If they are keen to learn and want to gain the skills needed for true investigation and spirit clearance then I feel they should be shown the true advertising from the group they are going to work with.
Many will realise in a short period of time what a group has to offer but it’s a shame they have to find out in this way.
If an individual does want to find a genuine group I will say it is limited. Many of these groups are very small and it is only occasionally they will add to their numbers. They do not go out looking for members, you will find that a member will find them. In the world of Spiritual work it is known to happen this way. There is still the assessment from the group to see if the individual will work comfortably within the team of course.
My wife and I have had many experiences, before and after we met. We work very well together.
Jeff, contacted us three years ago and once we had arranged a meeting my wife and I knew he was the right person for the team, he has shown and shared his skills as we have done the same in all our work together.
Nick has yet to work on his first investigation but the teams knows he will be an asset not only with his technical skills but also his inner skills.
Occasionally we will have guests at our events, but only if they have had experience in paranormal events. It is not advised to invite any individual who is otherwise, in some cases it can be very uncertain for their safety.
To understand the work we do there is a very important step to perform. This is opening and closing yourself. When you are open, you are open to many of the spirits advances and for some this can be too much to handle. This is where you have to learn to be able to close and protect yourself.
With the more experienced individual you can be open but also have the protection without having to close and only need to close yourself down at the end of the event.
Sounds a little confusing doesn’t it, but if this is not applied then you could be affected in many ways, and also there is a chance you could bring home an unexpected visitor. No less than an attachment of spirit.
This brings me to the sealing of a dwelling. Yes it is important to seal the dwelling so as nothing comes in or out. Again this is done by a very experienced team. If this is not carried out then you cannot tell if you have spirit visitation or grounded spirits within the dwelling.
More confusion! Not really guy’s, this is what it is all about. If you don’t have the experience then please don’t attempt to say you can do this work.
Containment.
This is where you find the spirit and contain it in an area of the teams choice. This usually only needs to be done with a very reluctant or aggressive spirit, most spirits will agree to communicate and comply to your requests. Some persuasion can be needed at times but the experienced team will know what is needed.
Blessing.
We always conduct a blessing within the dwelling after completion of the event. This is to cleanse and protect the dwelling from repeated occurrences.
There are many skills to learn in this line of work and you can understand how frustrating it can be for the individuals that give their time to just that. The frustration being the people who think they can work with spirit and not understand the disruption they can cause.
All it takes is to accept you are either a fun group or an experienced professional group and advertise clearly which one.
My blessing goes to the teams that are doing outstanding work and if it was not for the teams that really understand, well it would be one big nightmare.

We as a team have had many experiences that do show the existance of the spirit world and all of the team can verify such experiences. We have also studied many individual events and the individuals from these events have happened to be very respectable and reliable people.
I can also understand views from critic’s and dis-believers, to accept that there is some kind of invisible spirit being around takes some real believing, unless of course there is evidence of some proportion that they are really there. This is when, after serious and in depth investigations, the critic’s or disbelievers turn white and understand there is no other explanation for the experience they have just witnessed, even though some will still not accept what they have experienced.
It is strange, each individuals reaction cannot be measured because most can accept fear and unexplained phenomena, whilst others will put it to the back of their minds and refuse to accept they have been chosen to experience it.
It is through our experience’s, we have found that most spirit’s will not intend to scare people. Most will build up slowly to let the individual know they are trying to make contact. Unless there is some urgency or confusion from the spirit of course, this is explained in some of our other write-ups.
It does make us smile with some of the reactions we receive towards the work we cover, we do understand it sounds very far fetched and without repeating ourselves unless you also work with this unusual and amazing phenomenon you will never understand the truth that many of us experience.
Unfortunately publicity from many TV programs tend to show the wrong way to investigate and solve many situations, but although these are only for entertainment they do rely on you the public for their continued performance. They rely on the adrenaline of fear and excitement.
This is why, when we stream live, some of our events on the Internet, our viewers expect spirit presence and lots of screams. Sorry to disappoint you guy’s! This is not entertainment like the TV shows. This is the true way it is and unless you understand how it works then you would find it very slow at times. This is why TV sets up the extras for your entertainment, they cannot have a slow programme because no-one would watch it. Many parts of the programme are faked or made up to keep your interest.
Sorry to burst some of your bubbles but you cant book a spirit to perform for you, even if you are meant to be so called famous.
Unfortunately, being in the lime light for these mediums means they are under pressure to deliver results, this sometimes leads to poor and untrue findings. It is said One such case was when D. O’kora was found to make up a name from which it was found to be an anagram of his name. This was said to be made up from part of the crew from most haunted and mentioned to him before filming. It was shown he produced this name after being told it was one of the spirits that haunted the area, hence he is not working with them anymore. As for his reputation, I would say it is in doubt, but sadly through his own choice.
This is why all programs that are now advertised on TV are labeled ENTERTAINMENT ONLY.
It is sad to see many good mediums go down the path of ruin because of loosing their self respect and deceiving not only the public but themselves. They have a gift but the road they choose is the wrong one.
These programs can give good information and spooky entertainment but there is a limit, understand that not all mediums act in this way, and not all investigations are carried out in the way sometimes shown. For entertainment it has an excellent rating, but it can lead to new investigating groups getting the incorrect advice on how to conduct themselves during an investigation.
I think because we understand what is needed when spirit contacts people, we are very protective. It is a game to some and the thrill of the hunt can be exciting. The thought of individuals just wanting proof is so out of date, it is how it is dealt with that is the issue now.
Not once has a TV group said what is needed when they contact spirit ! Not once have they explained how or who can do it ! Not once have they explained what they are doing to help the spirit ! Not once have they said why they need to do it !
It would be professional if these programs introduced these extras even though they declare it is entertainment only.
This would show that the mediums within the program are genuinely there to use their gifts to aid spirit activity.
