Investigating Paranormal Activity
Just a brief word on many reports of places being haunted.
Many make the mistake of the definition of Ghost and Spirit.
Ghost is a recording, which can be played (seen), time and time again.
Sometimes on a regular basis, at set times even. Some call it the stone tape theory.
This cannot be cleared or exorcised.
So this event is uncontrollable and will continue until it fades over time.
Spirit on the other hand is communicative. It can see,hear and touch. It can cause many problems if it is negative or upset.
Spirit can be controlled in the way of persuasion, clearance or exorcism, by professional teams of course.
So the point I am making, if signs show that there is no evidence of communication i.e. it looks at you, it calls to you, it touches you, it moves objects, then there is no reason for a clearance or exorcism.
Recordings are sighted all over the world. For instance there was a report of a person walking along Dunkirk beach in France, some years ago and he suddenly found himself surrounded by a war on this beach, he could hear all what went on, gunfire, screams, aircraft bombing. This lasted for several seconds, then it was gone. Another is, someone see’s a figure that is halfway out of the ground, it is moving as if walking forward to a building. This is because the ground was lower at the recorded time of the event, hence the lower half of the figure cannot be seen.
This is a prime example of a recording of an event in the past. It can be either a lone figure or a mass, even an object.
Fear is the likely cause that gets in the way of identifying which one it is, so this is why in many cases, when there is an investigation, no evidence is found. The Ghost was a recording and only appears at set or irregular times.

We all wonder at times what regulates the rate of visitation. Or is it regulated at all for that matter?
Makes you think though! If there was a lack of some kind of rule, would we be blasted with constant reports of spirit visitation?
Well, think about it, even in a spirit realm there must be an excepted amount of control otherwise visitation would be so vast that everyone would have no choice but to believe it.
So many theories and open views make this so fascinating, don’t you think?
Most believers go by their personal experiences, whilst others just feel quite strong that something is causing unusual events.
Most non-believers are against belief because there is no hard evidence for them to see and until the do experience this, they stay with their personal belief.
This is quite understandable although frustrating for the individuals who can truly say they have experienced such paranormal activity.
We, as a team have understood after many years that you will never change the belief of any individual, they alone are the only ones that will understand if the situation changes, over time, for themselves.
It all points to YOU, as you will know what you have experienced. You either accept it or deny it. Some will wipe there eyes and believe what has happened while others will cover up and make an excuse to dis-believe. Some individuals find it very hard to accept anything that cannot be explained.
Every individual is different, they are entitled to their own opinions, this is what makes the world go round.
We who believe and work with spirit have all the proof we need, we do not need to show others of it’s existence or try to convert them. Not every one is ever going to experience it but for those who do, they will finally understand that it is purely an individual and private experience.
YES!!! It will more than likely scare the pants off you when you have that first event, but believe me when I say it will change your life.
But remember, you don’t have to prove anything, it is YOUR own true experience.
Many individuals ask, “why are we not afraid”. My first reaction to that was, “I don’t really know”.
It, for myself, was a natural reaction not to be afraid. But I will be honest and say that I still jump now and then when I am surprised with certain events.
I can converse, I can sense, I can protect myself, so I believe and I am satisfied I cannot be harmed, as do the rest of the team.
For most individuals fear raises it’s head when you cannot see what is around you, but when you learn to sense what is near then it is as good as you eyes, dealing with it takes a lot more practice and understanding.
For those of you that do believe, I hope you have understood that there is no need to be afraid of most spirit, there is a reason for their visit.

What about negative spirit?
Well that’s when you need to call us or someone who works in the same field as us. This kind of spirit can be very tricky, under no circumstance should you attempt to deal with this on your own. I do not like to scare any individual but this kind of spirit can be very unstable and unless it is dealt with from an experienced team then it would make matters worse.
Oh! Your next question is “ How can you tell if it is negative”?
Yes it does feed off energy, yes it can cause suppression and depression.
Yes it does get stronger unless dealt with.
It can touch or push an individual. It can allow you to hear noises.
This is where a clearance is definitely needed.
We have worked and experienced the above and it can be calmed and cleared.
Scary! Yes. Removable! Yes. Successfully! Yes.
Believe in what you have experienced, have no doubt, you will know!
Again I understand and respect your choice of belief and free opinion, you see, I work with this activity and experience so many weird, unusual and wonderful events.
Do I worry what others think! Not really, it’s a shame they have not experienced it too.

A bee in my Bonnet
How it is that people’s attitude of the paranormal has changed so much over the last 20 years? Yet people believe in spirituality, prayer, the church even gurus from India. Yet the very moment you mention paranormal, ghosts or strange sightings instantly they become a sceptic!
When questioned closer they themselves or some one they known has had an unusual experience of the paranormal kind. Therefore, the sceptic is now a believer that is afraid to admit because people will either laugh or treat them differently. It is ok to believe in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit or even have a different religious belief.
Most people have a faith deep in side that gets pushed to one side, is it because of the media?
Programmes that try to install fear and make us scared witless, or make a mockery of it all and call it entertainment. Alternatively, the Ghost tour groups or so called ghost clubs that are in most towns making lots of money from you through fear, hoping to see something jump out at you when you least expect it?
Even well- known so-called mediums have been caught up in the lime light of fame and television in the name of entertainment. By the very people who have employed one of the mediums services (not mentioning any names), view him as a liability by there own hand. It is these types of programmes, visually and mentality, that have done damage by being over the top and untrue merely to increase their ratings.
If a programme was viewed on television, mocking a religion there would be an instant outcry and some one would be made to answerer the consequences. So why is it any different to mock spirit activity?
Many famous and public figures of their time either were believers in the paranormal or were practicing in some sort of mediumistic or psychic work. For example, Dr Henry Slade in 1855,Prof.Augustus de Morgan 1806-1871 was the first English scientist to investigate Spiritualism and became convinced of the existence of the supernatural. He said, “Intelligence exterior to ourselves is the only satisfactory one”.
Dr Gustave Geley1865-1924. Lord Arthur Balfour1848-1930 served as British Prime Minister from 1902-1905 was a believer in telepathy and psychic phenomena.
William Stainton Moses 1839-1892 a clergyman on the Church of England had mediumistic skills and often included this in his sermons as well as writing many pages of his work.
Dr A Russel Wallace co-discovered with Charles Darwin the theory of Evolution.
The Rev G.Vale Owen 1869-1931 a Church of England clergyman developed spirit controlled writing of which we now call automatic writing.
Lord Dowding commander of the R.A.F during the battle of Britain wrote many books regarding the continuity of the after life and he was given communication from other mediums of his fallen comrades.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is to name a few, the list is endless. Queen Victoria as well as Sir Winston Churchill and Lady Diana Spencer were all believers and often consulted mediums.
Even the Vatican had there own private investigation on mediumistic work, this was denied by the church until it was leaked to the press and published.
Therefore, you can see that we have forgotten the past and ignorant of the present. We have much to learn from the past to help us all go forward.

These groups who think they know what to do if you have a ghost in your house are either brainless or live in the world of insanity. (Read google search)” I have a ghost”.
One word of advice I have read is that you cannot move spirit on if they do not want to go. RUBBISH ! This is totally untrue, with the correct proceedure it is possible to clear a spirit. I say so with the experience of hands on clearance and with our team we have had to clear many spirits, mainly negative.
Again I have read that the advice these groups give is far beyond reality.
The last thing that an individual who is asking for help is an instruction list to do it theirselves.” Come on”, if you have seriously worked with spirit you would never expect an unexperienced individual to even attempt any action towards a paranormal event.
Genuine groups or teams will never offer suggestions on what to do yourself if you have spirit presence. If and when they do, ignor it. They are truely not genuine workers with spirit rescueor clearance, let alone understand what they are doing. These are either fun groups or publicity seekers that play with individuals emotions. These are the groups that make paranormal events unstable, it is then left in such a mess, only the experienced groups or teams can repair the damage it can cause.
It is quite sad to see all these amature groups declare they are experienced in spirit rescue and clearance. False advertising will lead to failure and pain for the client and the spirit. I can understand groups that want to get the thrills, profit and publicity when they start up a paranormal group but to promise work for a client, in a field they have no idea how to operate and conduct is unexcusable and unprofessional.
Unless you have actually worked with experienced teams and gained the experience needed for the work you say you can do, don’t try it. You will find that people will see through your in-experience.
You all know who you are! So please either stick to your tours and your thrill seeking or gain the experienced to go forward professionally. It’s about time these groups realise it is not a game you are playing with. People and spirit can suffer with your poor advertising and your outrageous advice. Don’t believe everything you read, experience it for yourself. Then you can write about it.
I commend the teams and groups that have moved on from finding proof and existance for paranormal activity, it means they have all individually found this and can work professionally with spirit and client towards rescue.
I also commend the investigation only teams that do have findings and pass their results to the teams like ourselves so the dwelling can be calmed or cleared. This is very professional and shows their work is never left uncompleted.
Will these problems ever be solved? I doubt it, but at least we can highlight the mistakes that are being made.
It’s up to the individual to comply!
Choose your investigating team carefully! Not all what is advertised is always true.

Quite a serious question dont you think.
On the other hand it’s quite embarrassing.
Well just think of what people would say, “no way, no such thing”,”don’t be silly”.
These comments are very common from individuals who have never experienced paranormal activity in their life at present, therefore in their opinion it does not exist.
Maybe some can now understand why individuals actually suffer with the fear of spirit visitation when others look on with such a negative attitude just because it has never happened to them.
This I feel forces the individual who is on the receiving end to suffer because of the added fear of being labeled crazy, or words of that effect. Not only is it quite sad for the individual not to be given peace of mind for the events they are experiencing, due to the thought of being ridiculed, but also there is the spirit who has made itself known to think about. There is a reason for the spirits contact.
Any one person who has had or thinks they have had a visit will know in there own mind what they have experienced. In there own mind they will know what they have heard or seen. Some will deny it because they believe it could not have happened, they know what they experienced but refuse to believe it. This denial is usually brought on by fear of the unknown.
If you cant see it, it does not exist……… sorry, it does not work like that!
In many cases you do not have to fear it, although it is easy to say. Most spirit contact is for you or some one who understands, to give them the answers they need. This is when we are invited to help individuals who cannot communicate with the visitor and we will resolve the situation.
We can never change the opinion of an individual who is a dis-believer, only spirit can do that. But with the unexplained paranormal events that flood this earth plain each and every day there must be a little bit of doubt in their minds?
There are scientific answers to most things in life, when it becomes paranormal it seems to be hidden away, even though it cannot explained.
The bottom line is until you have experienced yourself and you except it, you could not really fully understand it, let alone believe it. I must admit it can be hard to accept unless you have had the visitation yourself.

1. Heard noises. i.e. voices, bumps, creaks, taps, footsteps, doors opening/closing, e.t.c.
2. Felt that someone is watching them.
3. Sensed cold areas.
4. Lights being switched on or off after leaving the room.
5. Seen shadows.
6. Objects have been moved from where they were placed.
7. Objects lost, then turning up in different places from where they were left.
8. Electrical goods becoming unstable.
9. Bed moving.
10. Covers being pulled.
11. Being touched.
As you can see many of these listed could have general and practical explanations to them. Many investigations have shown this to be not so much imagination but the fear of not knowing and solving the problem that an individual is experiencing. The fear factor takes a hold and many individuals believe there is spirit activity around them.
For that reason we have always said it is never a waste of time for us to be called out even if the client has no activity around them, it is peace of mind to know the facts.
Most investigations will show a certain amount of spirit presence, that does not mean that the area is shall we say haunted. Many professional teams will sense spirit wherever they go, this is because they can attract spirit. A professional team will know if spirit is grounded or in visitation within the dwelling. I can feel some of you smile at that last comment but it is very true.
We have known of many dwellings that have visiting spirit, and they come and go at anytime. They do not cause any problems and are rarely noticed.
Other clients we have helped have had a family loss and ask for us to investigate the feelings and events they have witnessed. They feel that the person that has passed is still with them, they have a strong feeling that they are near. Many have been right!
If you have never experienced any event to do with paranormal activity you could not possibly fully understand the importance of spirit presence and the reason for the event.
It is so easy for some to shrug off what cannot be understood, even when every avenue has been investigated to show without doubt that it is paranormal. Not one person has proved the existence of spirit, but many individuals, hand on heart, will swear they have experienced some kind of spirit activity. 2010 will be no different to the amount of recording for paranormal events, but I wonder how many individuals will be converted from sceptic to believer!
